Step 1

To get started on setting up POP3 email into your Outlook account, click “Add Account” .


Step 2

Select “Manually Configure Settings”. Then Click next.


Step 3

Choose “Internet E-mail”. Then Click “Next”


Step 4

Enter your Name (The name that will appear when someone gets your email). Enter your email address

Choose account type “POP3”. Incoming and outgoing mail server must be “mail.<your domain>”  example :

Username is your email address. And password is the password of the email address.

Step 5

Click “More Settings”. Click  “Outgoing server” tab. Type in your username(email address) and password(email password).


Step 6

Click “Advance”. Enter “995” for incoming server. Select “This server requires an encrypted connection(SSL)”.

Type “465” for “Outgoing server” . Select “SSL” for type of encryption.


Step 7

Click “OK” . Then click “Test Account Settings” .

If nothing fails and everything completes, you can click “OK”, a screen will pop up to say that you have successfully added an account
